Note to Self: Haunted Refrigerator Edition

  • Your refrigerator probably isn't really haunted.
  • It sure is noisy, though.
  • It sounds like there's someone something inside of it.
  • It also sounds like it's going to the bathroom.
  • You don't remember it making this much noise any other time.
  • It decides to pump up the volume when The Husband is out of town.
  • Just like in the shower, when you are SURE you hear things from the bathroom window.
  • At least you don't scream every single time something scares you.
  • Most times, but not every single time.
  • Like when playing Hide And Seek with your daughters, and your oldest one finds THE best hiding place.  Ever.
  • And jumps out of said hiding space to scare the living snot out of you.
  • And you scream bloody murder.
  • And then she laughs.  And laughs.  And laughs.
  • And laughs some more.
  • The fish in the tank also get in on the action.
  • Don't worry, they probably can't really jump out.
  • But the cover on the tank DID move when that one fish jumped.
  • The fridge and the fish aren't out to get you, though.
  • Your oldest daughter is still laughing.
  • She is out to get you.
  • Good thing she's cute.
  • She gets that from The Husband.
  • He's cute when he talks about the "Kamikaze Coon" that jumped out at his car on his way to the airport.
  • It takes skill to be cute when talking about the untimely demise of a forest creature.
  • Now that he's home, the noises will probably all go away.
  • Except for the laughter.
  • Because you just told The Husband about your massage.
  • The End.
Happy Friday!

Indeed...I like the blue fridge!

My fridge is 4 years old and already sounds like its on its last leg...and yet, when I bring a repair man in, it sounds perfect...what is up with THAT?

That fridge reminds me of Mr. Roger's fridge.

Maybe your fridge is haunted by Mr. Rogers. Don't worry if it is, he just wants to teach you how to share, how crayons are made and that you won't go down the tub drain with the bath water.

However, if your fridge is haunted by Mr. Mcfeely...be very afraid. I don't think he got that name by accident. Plus, he isn't dead yet.

LOL I am so the girl who hears more bumps in the night when the hubbys is away!

I finally posted the award you gave me:)

LOL - we must be twins because when hubby is out of town all the noises come out to scare me. Honestly, the first couple of nights with him away are totally sleepless because I know I just heard a thump, bump, or scratch of that one legged axe murderer my imagination has made up. By the third night though, I'm out like a light because well I am exhausted.

Hahaha! Is that your real fridge or just a pic of one? It's really cute! I think I could tolerate the noises for a fridge that cool! My husband has *magic finger* (not talkin' dirty here) but if something breaks when he's gone it magically ISN'T broken when he gets back and touches it! Drives me crazy. Great post! Made me laugh!!!!

Wait, is that your ACTUAL fridge?

If that were my fridge, I would let it say/do anything it wanted because it is AWESOME!

I thought fridges like that only existed in Pet Society...

(remember, it's the ice maker...making little alien spider cubes)

Every time I watch a new episode of Ghost Hunters, I decide my house is haunted. It's brand new and no one ever died in it, but somehow, I know it's haunted. Well, that or we've got coons in the attic.

I am so paranoid and scared of every bump! Esp. when alone or watching scary shows.
If that is your actual kitchen I absolutely LOVE it!
