"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10
She asks if I'm a wise woman, if I open my mouth with wisdom (Proverbs 31:26). This is definitely something that I have been working on. However, I seem to work on it more outside of the home. So clearly, I have more work to do.
Now, is The Husband a wise man? You betcha. Does he have a plan for our family? The man has had a plan for his family before he even had a family. He had an IRA at 17. Heading into college, he focused on fields of study to put him in a career that would provide for a wife and children.
He has a plan for our family. He has a sense of purpose. And I have a sense of total security with him for myself and my girls.
Husband, thank you for thinking of us before you even knew us. Thank you for being a husband and father who puts his family's needs in front of his own. Thank you for being a man who asks for wisdom from God. Right now, as I write this, I am overwhelmed with how blessed I am to have you. I know being wise doesn't sound all that exciting, but I hope you know that it is plenty exciting to me!
