"...whatever ye do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31b
Today I'm looking to "recognize and appreciate my husband's creativity" or "affirm him for his handiwork".
She mentions that sometimes a man's creativity is sometimes related to their work, and I can see totally see that. I know The Husband has come up with ways to do things at his job to make things simpler for himself, and I'm pretty sure for others.
When The Husband wants to do something, he gives it everything he's got and he does it well. He hasn't played the violin in years, but I bet if he picked it up and practiced he'd be amazing -- evidence of that was given when his sister asked him to play for her wedding six or seven years ago. He hadn't played for a while then, and in almost no time at all I was hearing beautiful music coming from the other room when he practiced.
To me... It seems like The Husband has The Midas Touch in a way. No matter what it is that he does, he does it well.
Hear that, Husband? You rock. Even when a form of creativity was kind of forced upon you. Because remember that time you had to do a voiceover for a skit I was helping with? And those two times you had to go up on stage for me? Or when you read lines with me when I was rehearsing? You did those things well, even though you would rather have not done them at all. You just can't help being good at everything, and it's yet another thing I love about you.
(And, dear reader, if you've been following all of these -- bless your heart -- you probably think that I think The Husband walks on water. Look, I know he doesn't, but this whole thing is about positivity and encouragement, what do you expect??)
